Found this today and had to show. This was my first Z, a late '71. Taken in '74, before most of you were born. Nothing to this day compares to the sound of my Z drifting through a 25 mph curve at 60 in second gear. Wish I had her back. Expect this to happen to you.

must be nuts finding that old picture. i remember when i thought i had lost all my pictures of my 300zx and then found them on my sisters computer (go figure) and then missed it so much. then a little over a week ago the guy that bought it from me almost 2 years ago e-mailed me asking about a motor i sent with it then telling me all the crap that went to **** on him then he tried to play it off like im some sort of shady bastard.

 

dude that ****'s weak. when my car needed all new valves 2 weeks after i got it, i never called the owners bitchin. i'd tell him to f off and call him a nunce

 

yeah, and on top of it, they were problems i never had, the T-s leaked once on my in a pressure washer style car wash (touch free) then he said all the T-s and the hatch leaked in the rain which he claims i denied any leaking problems, he said som pan flew off driving it home, the driver side window got stuck down, wouldnt pass emmisions (never had to do it so not my prob) number 6 injector was dead (which i cant recall which cylinder is number 6) and some other BS like, they were some shitty problems so idk WTF he did to get them cause the ONLY ONLY ONLY problem i had with it was my front drivers side cylinder wouldnt fire really. but i masked that lol.

que? what do you mean a quote? from a shipper? give em a call dependable auto shippers aka: DAS and talk to them and pay them! not me. then send me the rest. and no it has its quirks with wiring from time to time but onlye did it twice ever and both times were solved by cleaning the connections and yeah, its a project car that just hauls some ***. ive sent you over 200 pics if not, i can send you a link to my photobucket so you know what your getting lol. so are you saying you got the money?

no kick her *** it's a car,an inanimate object we just grow so emotionally attached to the car that we imagine it having female properties. she is not punishing the new guy it may be due to his inability to solder well or something else. don't act like cars are going to get mad cause they are not.

I'll say anyday that my Lady(260z) has a soul, and shes the only lady that i can seem to get along with for a long period of time. Shes like a nympho, always up for it and always fun.

I'm sorry to say Tons, but i'm afraid you are either an extreme novice, or not a true Gear head. Z or otherwise. I love every machine i work on. They're like a wife. You can complain about them all day, but when you lay down at night, who are you thinkin about? That machine. weather its gettin to play with it tomorrow, or what parts you still need. that machine is on your mind.

My first Z was Rumble(280zxt), and he (yes HE, Rumble had *****.) was a blast. Bought him as a 350 SBC swap car and just couldn't do it. He was too much fun.

No, I didn't have the new camera set. I have the '70 and the '77 in the garage. The '70 is getting cellulite reduction and a butt lift. Hav'nt driven her in a year but I touch her every day. The '77 needed part of the firewall and inner fender replaced down to the frame rail and the rear valance pounded back out, new engine. If I just had more time for them.
