hey guys. im about to buy a 77 280. very clean strait. had a little suspenson work, some engine work. im wanting to build the 3.1 L stoker but, then agian it sounds somewat expensive, i really want to go all motor. turbo sounds nice, but at the same time, justt more parts i gata worry about breaking or freezing up on me. im gana have roughly 5-6k to drop on the motor. now i realize i wont need that much but id like to know some suggestive ways on to get optimal power without spending all of my money.thanks guys.

MSA has a nice kit. The Only thing stoping me from the 3.1 is finding a damn head gasket for it.

 

Somebody is going to say it so it might as well be me...If you want optimal power for very little input, turbo is the way. OK, it's been said...now somebody help him out with the non turbo options
