I don't know why you couldn't find any information. A Google search of the part number (as written on the box) turns up all sorts of links to a wire set for the 280Z and ZX. All are NLA though.

As far as being true Nissan NOS and not an equivalent, I couldn't tell you. In my own experience, Nissan parts come in a Nissan box or at least have a Nissan sticker on them. All that said, sure looks like a NOS item. It's just not certain if it is factory stuff or just another manufacturer's equivalent part.

It's hard to tell from your photo but IIRC, original wires had only one bent plug connector for the #6 plug.

I did buy a Beck Arnley ignition switch off of Amazon a few years ago. It had a Nissan part number sticker on it, so it is possible that company manufactured the wires per Nissan's specs and put a Nissan part number on the packaging.

That's interesting. I wonder, what defines a "factory" part? I would think if they've got an official Nissan sticker on the part or its packaging that there is some kind of approval of the part from Nissan. We all know that auto manufacturers don't make all their parts. Many are made under license and get the "factory part" identification. Maybe the designation comes when those specific parts were the ones used during the car's original production at the factory. Anything else after that, including revisions, would be considered non-factory. I don't really know....
