New 280z Owner from SoCal
New 280z Owner from SoCal
Hi everyone, I recently purchased my first Z which also happens to be my first car. I had been looking for one for a couple months now and I finally found her. She's a 1975 280z. The color isn't my favorite and neither is the body kit but the body is straight and has very minimal rust I have plans to do the interior and paint myself. All she needs to get running is a new fuel pump and air flow meter. I look forward to posting up pictures following her progress!
Welcome to ZDriver!
That's a cool looking Z that someone has definitely put a lot of care into already.
For starters, you have a copy of your Factory Service Manual (FSM) - or you can download it from XenonS30 There are other good docs there, too.
Take some time to get familiar with the FSM and check out the inspection & troubleshooting sections for the stuff you want to work right. They are step-by-step, easy to follow.
Keep us up to date on your progress as you move along with it. The more photos the better...
Welcome and thanks!
