ok for starters, its a 73 and those flat tops are rubbish, if he dosent need emissions rip those carbs off and toss them in a lake.
get a set of 3 or 4 screw round tops and an emission free mani

the vacuum hose to the booster he was guessing about is right.

on the fuel pump the inlet goes to the fuel line, and outlet goes into the the larger tube to the fuel rail, the smaller end of the fuel rail goes to the return line.

Im still watching the vid so Ill get back to you on the rest of the questions

same difference for what we need, still has the same rubbish carbs lol

even getting an emission free balance tube would get rid of alot of his emissions crap

also have him DL the 73 and 74 FSM
http://www.xenons30.com/reference.html

use the 73 for the motor reference

Would you recommend the L24's original carbs? I still have them laying around packed up somewhere.

if they are pre 73 round top carbs YES

the carbs you have on there now are boat anchors, go toss em off the MLK bridge or something

do you have the other mani too?

Yep, got the other manifold too. I'll try and do inventory of what I had with it all when I got the car, both engines were halfassed especially the L24

lol if you have enough of them

EFI is the easiest/safest/most reliable, carb turbo set ups are old school cool tho

Old school cool is a plus lol I still wanna build the same engine the Devil Z used! L28 3.1L F54 Block P90a head (Im going to use a P90 tho) and twin T3/T4 Turbos (and a few other things I dont remember off the top of my head)

Speaking of which where can you even get the stuff for a 3.1L anymore?

far as I know its always something youv had to source yourself

89mm pistons
73' L24 9mm rods
L28D crank

Id use smaller turbos than twin t3/t4's one t3/t4 is enough to crank alot of power out of an L.
youd prob wanna run twin t3's at most

you can prob find someone to do a custom one but thats big $$$

even a stocker crank is going to run you like $300-$600

Strokers arnt cheap to build

my GF scored a nice crank shel be using for a 3.1 stroker turbo

lol nice.

Ah well I'll keep looking around for one. Hopefully I wont have to crank out tons of $$$ for just the crank
