Need High Amp Alternator

I need an alternator for an '83 ZXTurbo 5 speed coupe. THE HIGH AMPERAGE ONE. Where can I order this item NEW online? Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks. giZmo

Why would you need a higher amperage one?
The replacement one i bought is made by bosch and i have no troubles despite running subs etc.

I'm running a moderatly powered sound system in my 280ZX n/a. Although the amps stay near 14 volts, the needle on the ampmeter does jump a little while the bass is hitting.

Would it help to run an additional power and ground directly from the Alternator to the battery, and then connect my amp's power from that power source on the battery? (this would take some of the load off the car's original wiring)

...or do you have any other ideas? I'm running a new Bosch alternator; about a month old now.

that wouldn't make much of a difference, if you really wanted to fix that you'd have to get a capacitor to keep your volts from dropping because of the sudden increase in load from your subs, but as long as it doesn't start draining your battery you'll be fine without one.
