Hey folks,
just installed my "new" tachometer in my 280z. The problem I am having now is my interior gauge lights and my running lights are no longer working. They worked before I installed the tach. Any ideas? I checked my fuses and even removed the tach, but no dice.

The running lights and dash lights are on the same circuit. They are switched on with the light switch on the steering column. Check your harness beginning with the plugs at the steering column, there are several of them and they can be easily broken off or unpluged. You may have broken the hot side coming from the fuse panel. You might want to disconnect the battery until you find it.
