My new Z yet again

Well for you that have not heard I moved back to Las Vegas. Could not stand that they salt the roads in Nebraska. Now on to my new baby.

Stats are...

Pretty rust free
76 280z coupe
4-speed
black interior red repaint over light blue.
Snowflake rims
72 240z SU roundtop carbs
6-1 headers
cheater pipe
"turbo" muffler... I read that post..

Things to do
Install new carpet
Get a new or used center consol
Swap in a 5 speed
MSA type 3 front and side kit.
Reaction research yz rear quarters (maybe)
Blow trough turbo kit (need to research that more)
upgrade the suspension
figure out how to install a push to start button ( any advise? )
new tyres
and new paint

Other than that not much else to do.
pics to follow...

Glad to have you back Skittle. And that is a pretty clean Z you got there. And hey...those look like 15" '81 turbo snowflake wheels..eh? Anyway looking forward to seeing your progress on this sweet Z. Keep us updated man...and once again welcome back..

Welcome back! And nice find on the new-to-you Z.
Note for the push-start button:
Just get a good 12V relay (to avoid switching the higher current with the actual button), and use the Black/Yellow wire (well, that's the color in '78 anyway...) in your ignition key / starter circuit. It should be pretty clear where to hook it up from the overall car schematic. You can get fancy with some other relays to have the button disabled in certain conditions (like if the car's already on, or the key isn't in the ON position, etc.).
cheers,
Dave

Thanks for the info dave... Its a Las Vegas Car originally and i checked everything for rust and just some minor stuff where the paint chipped off and such. Yes they are 81 turbo rims and i need to get those redone.
