LED on Control unit

I took notice to the green LED on my contol unit is flashing... somebody told me its just saying the O2 sensor is working... another told me its flashing trouble codes... i was wondering if you guys could help me. thank you

on the 280zx/zxt ECU it just flashes that the O2 sensor is working. On the 300ZX/ZXT cars the leds are green and red. you adjust the pot on the side and it will flash trouble codes.
