i just bought a 240z

i just bought the car of my dreams but it needs some work nothing big except for the fuel pump and the choke other than that all it needs is paint and some body work

i have been looking at a 240z 260z or 280z to buy to drop my 1982 280zx turbo engine into i think u should find a good running 280zx turbo car and drop the hole engine etc into the 240z. Just a thought. ! Nismo619 !

can the car be registered without the bumpers? and im going to have my mechanic work on it tomorrow and if not im going to take it to the z doctor

I had no problem registering mine plus I've been pulled over by cops twice (no front plate/ speeding, illegal U-turn) and neither time did the cop even mention the bumpers. So if you can get away with it here in the Peoples Republic of Illinois, you can probably get away with it anywhere....
