Hitachi HJG46W Vacuum Question

Hey there,

Looks like I'm back with yet another question.

My fairlady has been having some issues with the Georgia bipolar weather...been pretty difficult to start. As it turns out, the guy that had her before me has blocked off a lot of the vaccum ports and disconnected some of the lines. One of which was the vacuum advance which I fixed today. Fixing this also had her running MUCH better than before hand which has led me on this crusade to correct the other vaccum lines.

Where the fuel inlet is on my HJs, I have what is called a "Banjo Bolt" in the Haynes manual, but I'm uber lost as if this is a vaccum line spot or what. If someone could throw me a bone as to where this line is supposed to connect to, I would appreciate it.

In my images below, you'll notice that I have an awesomeness image showing some of the vacuum spots which were so awesomely covered. I tried connecting this just for testing, but had no resolve. Ran aweful.....I love bein a noob.

In the first pic I did not have those connected to anything either with no problems at all.

Cool beans, I was kinda hoping for that. I've been shocked at the lack of any vacuum line diagrams. There is on in the FSM but its so blurry it looks like it survived a house fire or something.

I'ma make one once I get everything corrected =)

Any idea what the vacuum spots with the screws and what not are there for?

In pic 1 that is a vent from the fuel bowl to the back side of the air cleaner, one on each carb. Pic 2 - Front carb only, holes 1 and 2 connect together with a loop of vac line. Holes 3 and 4 are blind threaded holes that do nothing on both carbs. Reading left to right.
