AHHhhhhh. Well then. Thanks for clearing it up. So are you an Oakland local then? Interested in coming out to an East Bay Z's meet?

Actually im over here in Fresno, CA. Oakland was a little scary to me. I broke down over there at FootHill Plaza when i first bought my z. Two skinny white dudes working on a car at 11:00pm on a friday night... in foothill plaza with a bunch of little jons running around... thats scary lol

If i was closwer i wouldn't mind going to one though. Im planning on going to San Fran pretty soon...

Everyone is scared of what they know nothing about. Oakland is great. Born and raised here. Its the same as any other metropolitan city. Cept we have a style and culture all our own. Should come out to the meet if ya can, you wont be scared. I gurantee it. Bleach wasnt . .

Apollo, thx for the link!!! TechToyTuning is only 45 minutes from me too... I'm gonna call them after I check the pattern on my MOMO's. I rolled them up next to my car last night and it looked AWESOME! If I can get them on, it should look as cool as mikeyman's

Mikeyman - Are your wheels 4 or 5 lug???

The Wheels i have right now are 4x4.5 the correct bolt pattern... Here is a picture of my momo's when i had them on my Jetta...

Now are those the same type of momos you have? Quasar 1's? These momos are +40 offset w/ a 4x100mm (vw, honda pattern) pretty rare rim though... i had mine cleaned up at a local wheel shop i polished the lip a little bit though goign to 1500 grit paper

These are my MOMO's. 5 lug, so they cannot go on until I get adapters, new tires, etc...

Wow man, that Z is friggin' sweet bro'! Verry clean looking, and props for the excellent photos too. I really dig the black stripe on the middle of the hood. And I have Eagle alloys, 15" x 8" I believe. They are on my '81, and I thought they were pretty sweet. But man seeing your 280z, makes me want one more and more. Keep that Z looking great, and updating us, and welcome to zdriver bro'.
