Help - Real axles
I own a 280zx with 6 - 12 bolts nuts attached to the wheel side of the axle. My rubbers burst and my mechanic claims that it cannot change.
So I both a pair of axles with the 6 - 12 bolts configuration and now the part sliding into the diff. is too thick for my diff.
Can any other axles work?
Can the axles be seperated and serviced?

Re: Help - Real axles
I pulled the shafts out of a 300zx V6 turbo 1984 model
It was the only one with 3 sets of 12 bolt configuration
My diff is a R200.
I was wondering if I should use the diff from the 300zx however the diff mounting s are different.
I am at a total lost!

Re: Help - Real axles
ahh there's your problem im 99% sure turbo models came out with an LSD Diff .... go back and buy the diff aswell and put it iin........
failing that you will probably need to buy halfshafts for on open R200 and then you will have no problems......
On turbo models they tend to make things bigger so they dont break as easily
