Got a 70 240 z with aftermarket ac(obviously) close to getting it to work--it has a rotrary switch that turns it on undrneath the dash just to the right of the steering wheel--does anybody know what positon the controls should be in on the center heater control panel? The selector for heat or vent is a no brainer as is the temp control but the bottom one that says defrost on the left and cabin or air on the right --not quite sure what that lever is supposed to do.

I had mine apart one time and I think the top one has a micro-switch that closes when the lever is to the left. This completes the circuit to turn on the ac. The bottom one just selects the vents.
