Happy new owner of a 77 280z :)
Just picked it up today. ODO says 99k. probably rolled over. don't care! interior in in damn good shape, has what I assume are rota wheels (I'll check in a day or so, gotta take them off to be sure) and only has one area with cancer that I've found, right above the exhaust. it came with another intake manifold, louvers, both bumpers, and a plethora of other parts.
I'll take more pics tomorrow - just wanted to post this because I'm excited!
The front end and part of the roof have been sanded down to bare metal. I'll probably just rattle can the car in a few days until spring time, then get a proper paint job. I'll deal with the cancer on the *** end in a week or so, i'll just cut the bad out and tack some fresh sheet metal in.
That's my old 7, now owned by my friend They go good together.
My plans for it are to lower it a little for handling and looks. I've already got a slammed car, don't need two! I've researched the coil-over route and that's probably what I'll do - unless there's an easier option than welding stuff in. I wont do adjustable sleeves on stock shocks. I've got access to a almost built rb20DET i can stuff in it, or I might go for a L28 and keep it a little easier.
But, yay! Z car
