finally getting moving!

I bought my Z back in September 2006. Up until now the most I had been doing with the car was gathering lights and other miscellaneous parts. Today I went down to Rebello Racing in Antioch and put down a deposit on an engine. They're going to be building me a 3 liter stroker. I'm hoping to track down some different carbs before it's installed. In the meantime, I gotta go to DMV and pay the back due fees to get it streetable. I'll be posting up pics as I go along.

Nice! ...Sounds like you're well on your way to a monster motor with that one...

The motor will be about $4k when it's finished. Rebello had originally offered to build me a "budget block" back in December when I first contacted them, using some parts from my old block for about $3200. I figured I'd save up for a couple of months and see if I could do something better. Dave described it as their "old school" 3 liter, and said it could put out around 250hp or more depending on what carbs I use.

Carbs

Let me know if you want a set of Mikuni's. I have several sets of SU's and a set of Mikuni's that I will be selling. I live in Brentwood.

Also, would love to get together when the motor is done. Very curious about the performance vs. the mods I have done to my car.

It's always nice to find local Z enthusiasts, thanks for responding! I'm looking for either Mikunis or early SU's, just depends on what's in my price range. PM me and we'll see if we can work something out.
