Hello all,
This is my plan for my engine build. I have an E88 head shaved with N47 intake and exhuast values installed, I am going to get a 81ZX F54 hopefully flattop piston block soon, and use that engine combo with my stock SU's, MSA 6-2-1 header, K&N air filters, 5 speed, 3.54 R200, and stock everything else.
1. Should I be hitting close to 180-200hp?
2. Anyone simular with simular setup have dinoed there car, let me know where I abouts I'm at?
3. How can I get 180-200 doing other stuff that I may have missed?

I have a pretty similar setup- E88 head with F54 block. I have E46(?) intake (240z carbs) stock air filter, head port and polished- i am soon going to have my car dyno tuned, but i think about 180-200hp is about right

My 280 has the K&N and 21/2 exhaust no cat freeflow muffler. 6-1 headers and 10-1 commpession. I dont know the HP but I do know I make a lot of vette owners unhappy.I am gonna dino mine in April after I put in my cam. I will post Pics and Ratings then.

Cool, if you guys could post your dino results when you get them I would appreciate it. I probably won't be done with the engine build for a while, don't have much time to work on it.

 

Hey Godzilla how bout sharing with us the machine shop that you sent you motor to for you rebuild. I was hoping to see some refernce to the shop and more details on the build in your 3 part series of the build up.
