IMOH, I believe the blocks are pretty much similar it's the accessories that you should be concerned with, IE Head, Carbs, Crank.. I have an 81 turbo block which I had used in my buildup but am using various items from different engines, Carbs from a 70, N42 Head. I would love to make it a stoker engine.
