dumb newbie question...
i found an 1983 280zx for sale, the ad doesnt say its a 2+2, but when i run an internet title check on it, it shows its a 3 passenger car? does this mean i can get a carseat in there or something? thats what i need to do, and finding a 2+2 is tough around here.

Sounds like you are going to have to go look at it or ask the owner. I can not see how you could get three people in the coupe but I am sure some of the people here have tried

I would guess that it is a 2+2 because in reality you would be lucky to be able to fit 3 people in a 2+2.

when i was 16 and had my '78 i got 5 people in my non-2+2... me, a friend, and 3 freshmen girls... one on the floor in the passenger side, and 2 in the back... the one farthest to the back was holding the hatchback because it wouldnt close haha.....

The good news is..there seems to be way more 2+2's then Coupes, but hold out for a Turbo
And if it's Auto even the Wifey might get into it !

btw: I would imagine the 2+2 would register as 4 passenger, dunno 'bout that three stuff but sounds kinky
