Difficulty level for manifold gasket replacement

Can anyone tell me the difficulty level for changing out the exhaust / intake manifold gasket on a 1972 240Z?

I have "decent" mechanic skills, but not a pro.

Fairly easy.

It's just time consuming. The 240Z/260Z manifold setup is a lot more basic than the fuel injected 280Z/280ZX. You can always follow the procedure in the Haynes / FSM: www.xenons30.com/reference

Make sure you spray PB blaster on all the studs because they are certain to be rusted on and let it soak over night. If you break one off you got big problems.

Can not tell you how much a time consuming task can turn into a hair pulling task.

Once you get the intake/exhaust off, make sure you scrape off the old gasket (I had to resort to using a circular wire brush on a dewalt to get it all off)

Just don't break any bolts =(!
