Cracked Injectors

Cracked Injectors
I just pulled the injectors of my 78 and they are all cracked at the nozzle. Some are cracked at the base of the nozzle and some are cracked from the base to the tip. Is this acceptable or will they all have to be replaced? Does anyone know of a good source for them and the connectors?

injectors-- the pintol caps can be replaced. If you can find a place that cleans and tests them in your area, they should have some.
injector connectors--- If you can go to a pick and pull in your area look for saab cars. They have the same connector only it is the quick release type. better to unhook when working on the injectors. Or you can go to your local import parts place. See if they can order directly from bosch. They are the original supplier. I don't have the part number handy, but it comes with the rubber boot, connector(quick release type) and new wire crimp ends.
And don't forget new seals.
If I can I will post a couple pics of the inj and part number on my ride page.

well you could go that route but buy the time you do all the you could get a comeplete set of new injectors from sherco auto. for like 120 dollars
