car starts -won't idle

75 280Z FI mild cam, K&N. Replaced plugs & wires, now car starts sometimes backfires.. will run at 200rpm, but won't idle
HELP please.

Maybe your inlet and exhaust gaskets are leaking ? i changed mine and it made it idle better. Does it make a banging noise from the exhaust when you go down a hill ?
