Anyone in Sacramento have a throwout bearing collar?

I am in dire need of a throwout bearing collar from a 4 speed type b transmission. This is the only part that is keeping me from getting my Z back on the road.

If anyone in Sacramento/Surrounding area has a throwout bearing collar that they want to sell/get rid of, please either reply to this thread or PM me.

Thanks!

The collars are different depending on the pressure plate in the car. The collar I have is from the type a tranny, which uses a thicker pressure plate than available. The type b collar works for the kit that I have, so I am trying to find that one specifically.

Its either I find the collar, or I pull the components out of a 280 tranny and make them work.

Here's a link:

I did not know that. I just made sure I had a collar for/from a 240mm setup if I was using that pressure plate and flywheel or 225mm. Never ran into any issues even when going between 4 and 5-speeds and 4-cyl and 6-cyl L-series. It all worked out.

Type A 4-speed would likely be the first series for the 240Z.
Type B, the later 4-speed in the 1975-78 280Z?

sorry I don't have any loose collars to measure. They would likely be from a 280ZX 5-speed anyway.

It's cool Bleach. Thanks though. I have the adjustment screws on both the master and slave cylinder adjusted out completely, and there is barely enough clutch there to grab. It drives, but I have a feeling a bad start would cause it to slip quick.

FWIW, I believe the type a 4 speeds came in the 70's to early 71 240Z's, and the type b 4 speed came in from mid 71 and onward.

I really need to spend some more time on this forum. It's been a while since I last posted
