i just came in from trying to wire an electric fuel pump into my 72 Z. it should have been a pretty straight-forward job, but i turned it into a nightmare!! my car was already wired from the factory for an electric fuel pump so it was just a matter of hooking both ends of the wire up. after an hour of trying to find the right wires, and changing wires that were in the wrong places, i finally got everything hooked up and looking good. i go up and hook up the battery and then around back to see if i have juice in the wires. when i get to the back of the car i look up and see smoke coming from inside the car and from the engine bay!!! needless to say i must have hooked something up wrong. well tomarrow i guess i will start taking tape off and replacing wires ((((
