72 240z tune up
So many things going on kind of forgot about my oldest friend. My 1972 Datsun 240. A little history. I bought the car new. It was sitting new on a lot in 1973. Nobody seemed to want him. Never forget the first experience driving this car. Like sitting on a rocket. I bought it. I remember my dad thought I was crazy to buy something from japan called Datsun. It only has 51000 miles after almost fifty years. It's never asked for anything except tires and a fan belt. The a/c hoses are wore out but you couldn't use it anyway. The car lives in a nice heated/cooled building with a few other friends. The car is orange with a white interior. I put a picture somewhere? Now for the question.
I have always had trouble with the distributor running out of adjustment for timing. It's very close but needs that addition touch. Do I need to pull it out and move it back a notch, and reinstall it? I'll go thru everything else but this has always been a problem.
Thanks so much.
