I just got the 3" exhuast & 3" hi flow CAT in with the cold air K&N reccomended on the archives. Jeez its a whole new car above 2500rpm. I guess I'm finally burning the extra fuel from the SVT injectors.

Is this turbo or NA. If it is N/A you might want to re-think you exhaust size or invest in some valves.

How's your gas mileage?

 

When I went to 21/2 exhaust I gained about 2 MPG. But a sh** load more power and even in the high gears my car loves to go.

Are the MSA headers and exahaust systems good performance parts. cause im getting my ehaust manifold replaced and i wanna know what header and piping i should get that will give me good performance. Also i think the headers have to have smog fittings cause its a 78. also where can i fund hi flow cats.

he is probably referring to the "SVO" injectors which are 370cc and came on the Ford 2.3L turbo engine in the Mustang SVO and Merkur XR4Ti. Best way to get a set is to do a search and find the SVO and XR4Ti forums and post in their classifieds. Best to just post a WTB for 6 injs w/o mentioning what type of car it is for.
