Well, since you'll be driving the car it should be "what's most important for you?" Is a/c important for those bloody hot TX summers? Maybe focus on that... or if you can drive w/ no a/c, start body repair...

The reson I ask is this

How long can i ignore rust rotted floor pans undtill they are no longer safe. Then the weather strip kit would keep the inside dry again.

The AC will 100% be next.

Until you can Flintstone stop... That's kinda a hard question to just answer. Rust = bad. Rust holes = bad. Big rust holes = really bad.

How about posting some pics showing the areas of concern.

OK found an AC system out of a car that is being parted out. If the price is right I will do that first.

What is a fair price for the complete AC?

ok first off i would get a new dryer, a used one could be contaminated and would be hell because you would have a hell of a time getting the crap that was in the old dryer out of your system, they act as more than just drying out the system and if theres too much moisture it can make things worse and rot the system from the inside out. this is from experence and R-12 ISNT CHEAP r-134a is a littlbit but NOT MUCH. i could give you a whole lecture about the dryer thing but all in all.

old dryer has crap in it, dont want crap in your system, get new dryer.

$61 at the first place i type in, i am sure its cheaper else where

with the jack and stuff did you get a funky can of air stuff?

You can weld in patch panels for the floor if the surrounding metal is good. Check your frame rails too.
