I am restoring my dad's 1978 280Z which has been in storage at his farm since his death in 1984. The shop that is performing the work in Lansing, MI is looking for a gas tank as they report that the existing tank looks like a coral reef inside. Despite soaking in some pretty caustic chems they can't get it clean. Because of the baffles it isn't a candidate for the Renu process either. So I need to find a new/used tank. Can anyone Help?

There's a lot of radiator shops that also specialize in fuel tank repairs too... have you tried calling around? If worst comes to worst... you could always find one at a junk yard. I checked out www.car-parts.com for you:
