1/4 miles in the junker Z

Well, I am on a friends computer becuase I have no internet. But, I went to the local track last night and got a few runs in with the Z. I wasn't really planning on it, but my friend has a new to him AE86 he was wanting to run. So I went for fun.
Mismatched rims and tires, clutch going out, melted primary venturis in my front DCOE carb, and horrible suspension.
I still saw high 15's. I didn't think the old girl would do it.
There might be a video up, and when it is, I will post a link.
I will get a scan of my time slip online too. Might be a while.

All I can say, is that with the carbs out of balance, and mis-matched tires, I have one hell of a time getting a good launch. Had to get the tires good and hot. Saw a 2.27 60ft. Not too bad, but it could be better when I get some tiers, and bushings, and shocks, and AHHH!!!...

Just wanted to share the fun I had last night. Glad my friend talked me into going.
He was running 17.1's in his almost complete stock AE86. My 15.9 was next to him. Made my night.

A hair over 84mph. I don't have the slip with me. Should have left it in my car. Gonna scan it at home, and get it online when I can.

Trying to find numbers on other 260's with similar mods that are in good condition to see what they ran.

Monza header, Triple Webers, mild cam, Mallory dizzy, T5, MSD 6AL and Blaster II.
I know the car should run better for it's weight. I had the rear seat out, and everything else empty except for some minor dynamat. No bumpers either.
