I'm screwed! My exhaust pipe is custom and has a custom collector. The whole setup is one piece welded right to the headers. I need to change my transmission very soon....

Are you sure you can't unbolt the transmission and then with it on a transmission jack, roll it to one side a bit and turn the tail end away from the exhaust a little???
I guess I'll crawl under there and see for myself.
