thermostat

I just finish putting in a larger alum griffin rad in my z. i just put in a newer water pump as well as a 160 degree thermostat when i did a build.. it gets hot in louisiana. anyway. megasquirt is me a head temp of 150-160 when idel/rev. my question is i have a auto meter sport comp gauges. the termastat temp jumps around to 200. i was just wondering if anyone knows of a resistor, easy therm or something to get this thing accurate. been reading and they are not the most accurate with the z sending unit. kinda hate to put a mechanical gauge or something. any suggestions. new parts are always fun to put in

Why can't you use the stock temp gauge?
