SU mods

i have dual SUs on my 73 240. currently i have a fully rebuilt 82 f-54 block with a late (4th) e-88 head. i am wondering what simple mods i can make to the bell type SUs to gett a little more out of them. i dont want a huge change or anything that could trash or ruin them. also this is a driver not a racer so im stop and go. i plan to put a cam on the car that is stg 2 or 3. low end accel *** apposed to top end speed. ive searched the forum for 3 hours and nothing that really caters to what i want.

i guess what im asking is there any small part that can be changed or any minor machining to get a litle more air flow or better mixture.

Adjust / tune / sync them. You can also swap out the needles / jets. Search Google for: "240z Gross Jets and SM needles"

If you change jets you can put a lighter weight oil in the domes to help them open faster.
