No power when cold
No power when cold
When i start up my z in the morning and drive to work/school, when i accelerate it has power up to about 2700-3000, then it chokes and stumbles and has no power. however, if i let off the gas pedal some, it gets power back (to a point). but when its warmed up its fine. ideas?
ok so i took the air reg off and the bi-metal strip assy. came out rather easily... and i was just curious on the proper operation of the air reg. (does it normally bleed vacuum through it, when is it supposed to be open/closed, how long does it take to do both). my searches came up fruitless

it was cold enough today so i could actually see my exhaust whilst driving, and when it bogged down there was a rather large amount of blue/whitish smoke. i know my z burns a little oil, but could the problem be worse when its cold?
i guess i was wondering if it might be more than just the air reg (which i am now sure mine needs the niku-sama rebuild treatment). when i pulled mine and blocked all the holes, it ran better and idled lower. btw my idle screw is all in and im idling at about 1k-1100. i did not have a chance to actually take it out for a drive tho.
