Fuel injection hardware

Does anyone make a hardware set (nuts/studs) for the intake/exhaust?

I picked up a set of exhaust studs and nuts from Napa auto. They were on the shelf and just a little longer on both ends and that is what you need especially on the exhaust manifold ends. They are the ones that break or come out. You can order the super heavy thick cast washers from Nissanpartsdeals.com
Hi temp exhaust nuts 08911-1082A 11 of these (come with the stud set from Napa if yo go that way)
Washer 08915-1381A 1 of these
Washer 08915-43810 3 of these
Washer 14037 N3600 6 of these (come in package of 10)
At the very least order the washers while you still can. The washers are important for correctly securing the intake and exhaust manifolds.
Some of them are called "Yoke Manifold" because they hold both the intake and exhaust manifolds, they are special extra thick washers.
I will swing by Napa and get the part number for the exhaust stud set they carry.

One thing that I ran into while reassembling my engine is that the intake would not line up correct with the heat shield installed between the intake and exhaust. This can be installed after. The bolts that would not line up were the 4 upper bolts on the intake manifold that are next to the injectors. Pervious owner actually damaged the head trying to pound the bolt into the holes! Also tap out all of the holes for all the bolts and studs. Use anti-sieze!

Studs and washers for intake/exhaust

Here is the exhaust stud set that I used on the rebuild of my 1981. It is from Napa.

Side by Side comparison. Napa stud on the left, stock Nissan stud on the right. The extra length on the "short" threaded side will help retain the stud. They fit without modification.

Here is a picture of the "Yoke-Manifold" washer that is used on the studs where the intake and exhaust flanges are held in place by one nut. Normal 8m washer on the outsides.

Use locktite thread locker on the ends that go in the head. Use anti-sieze on the nuts. Run a tap into the holes to clean out the threads. This will make your life much better if you ever have to take it apart again.
