Clutch Replacement...which One?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979-...spagenameZWDVW

saw that on ebay....its a 6puck....i want a clutch that will handle the build that im doing (325+rwhp l28et 78' 280z) its one similar to that or im going thezstore way and getting the centerforce dual friction...any ideas? also im wanting to keep the 225mm NOT upgrade to the 240mm just cause of the pain and loss that goes with it. im thinkin about msa's 10.5lb kila-whatever flywheel which they say will make a huge difference on my n/a right now and even help a little once i swap the turbo motor. but right now its got intake, header, custom 2.5 exhaust, pallnet fuel rail, all new injector everything(seats, injectors, and all rubber),240sx bigger TB,and fireball coil, new rotor, dizzy cap, plugs....maybe a small shot soon.....but i want it to be a little quicker now and more fun untill i get the swap done, but need a clutch that will handle it all any suggestions? thanks -jeff

I personally don't trust those puck clutches, but that is just my opinion only. I don't see how having less friction surface area makes a better clutch. I've been using my Centerforce dual friction for 9 years now, no probs at all... except for a slight bearing squeal from the Centerforce bearing (which I replaced).

Aluminum lightweight flywheels have their pluses and minuses...

They are light & allow for quicker rev ups... but that also means the engine will rev DOWN faster too. Also, a lot of people complain about shaking & shuttering of the car when using a light flywheel. HeatRave R had some probs w/ his... Dunno if he got used to it or changed it out.

What's your plans to get to 325whp?

haha i got a l28et with the purchase of this 78 280z i bought back at thanksgiving, while im switching my suspension from the 79 zx to my dads 80zx so i can sell it for the motor $$$ but mainly ross or je forged pistons, megasquirt, dodge turbo hy35, wolf performance manifold, bigger tb and injectors, palnet fuel rail.....a few other goodies, but the 280 right nows making close to 200rwhp im thinking well more like 180 probably....ill get a dyno sheet when i get it done (should be within a week or a month 'going out of town')

dont buy that heap of **** on e-bay. they dont even know what car it fits on, they list like every Z made on that listing. get a fidanza flywheel, and then you can try finding a stacked clutch (they got the mutliple discs in there) of just a dual friction centerforce.
