75 280z stalls, need help plz
I bought a 1975 280z and it ran great when I took it home, I gave it a tune up and all was fine but when I took her out for a long drive she would start to putter, choke and stall. Like it has ran out of power and is trying hard to stay running.
Things I have done to it:
Replaced Distributor, wores and rotor.
New oil, oil filter.
New fuel pump
Cleaned gas tank out.
New spark plugs.
New gas filter.
New manifold Gasket.
When the car gets hot it still backfires, sound is in engine. Can anyone help me in finding out what maybe the problem....oh and there is no air caming out from anywhere, I checked.

I have a 75 280 and frequently experience difficulties with stalling and power loss when something gets water in the plugs in the fuel injection harness, most specifically, the mass air flow sensor. take all the plugs off one at a time, blow them out, spray some WD-40 in them, and make sure they make good contact. it might help. it might not. it cant hurt, unless you break one of the old brittle plastic plugs.. so be careful, but good luck
