280z fuel pump doesnt stop running

Ok, so Ive been having a lot of problems with this new '78 280Z of mine, and after getting it back from the shop after a few weeks - they gave up and told me not to bring her back, even the classic specialty shops they told me to go to wont touch her - I finally got her back on her feet...but we still need a little help.

The fuel pump turns on....and doesnt stop. The new relay I bought for the fuel pump I do not think works, I havent been able to get it to switch the pump on at all. Using the old nasty relay, it works but will not go off.

The ecu was just replaced as well.

The car seems to start again, and will run. I think Im going to take it to work tomorrow - 5 miles down the road - and ill let you guys know how it goes.

I do have one of these JEGS Performance Products 10556 JEGS Waterproof Relay & Pigtail - Free Shipping on All Orders @ JEGS
on the way that i will be swapping in for the old nasty relay since the new one i purchased seems to be DOA.

Im going to be taking the old semi working one apart tomorrow after work to see if i can clean it or something, as ive heard that it may just be stuck.

Other than the relay though, I dont know what else it could be. The FPR is my next guess, but ive replaced a ton of **** already and would like to be a little more cautious before jumping right to that.

My fuel pressure sits at around 32 while running and around 40 when the fuel pump is infinitely "priming"
