Is the air box attachment really needed on the 280Z? This is the black plastic tube that clamps on the end of the blue air box and turns into the engine compartment. It looks like it's onle pupose is to draw warm engine air into the intake and possibly improving emissions. The optional K&N intakes don't do this.
