Master Cylinder Swap

I have a z32 master cylinder that I am going to put on the 260z. I also have the z32 front calipers. I have the adapter and rotors to make this fit.

Who has done this? What am I going to run into as far as an installation issue. Will I have to adjust the rod in the booster as in installing a wildwood BMC?

Sorry I have never heard of this swap for an S30. Not saying it has not been done but I would like to know your source of reference for doing this swap.

Personally I have the Toyota 4 piston caliper with the z31 vented rotors up front & the Modern Motorsports 240SX rear disc conversion along with the 15/16 280ZX MC for my 240Z.

Here are the rotors and adapters for the Z32 calipers to bolt onto the front. I will let you know how the BMC conversion goes, the bolt pattern is the same. Will have to work on the rod length for sure.

Any brake setup is possible... but not always a good idea. Without doing anything to the rear brakes, you will be nose heavy every time you step on the brakes.

Also, unless I'm missing something, you have 5 lug rotors going on a 4 lug hub. Are you going to re-drill them?

No those rotors bolt onto the back of the hub just like a stock setup. Using as a 4 lug. Finished the brake install.

So i got this all installed. Put the Z32 master cylinder in, Front and rear Z32 calipers and rotors. I also got the e-brake cables to mate with the S30 chassis e-brake handle. I am have a brake bias adjuster that I have not installed. I am going to try this setup first, if it is an issue I will put the adj in.

I did switch to 5 lug as well. Going with some Z32 NA wheels\\

Ok have a few weeks on the setup. The brakes are amazing. A little touchy. But stop the car amazingly and have not had any lock up issues.

So the 5 lug hubs and rotors will fit the front. What did you do to get the rear 5 lug hubs to fit! Nice work!

For the rear I installed the TechnoToyTuning rear suspension using the Z32 rear axles, dif, and brakes. This en tales backing plate, mustache bar, dif mounts etc.

To get the wheels to fit I had to use a 1 1/4 inch spacer.

The front is still a 4 lug hub. I have a 4 lug to 5 lug spacer up front.

Want to get the Technotoytuning front 5 lug hub, but I am out of work right now and do not have the cash flow.
