'DeTomaso' hatch

I got a decent deal on this 1976 280z, and it had this funky hatch. It was explained to me that there was a mod kit that made the back end of an S30 look like a deTomaso Pantera.

I found a guy about 60-70 miles away that is willing to trade me a conventional hatch for it, so thats the route I'm headed as I think this kills the design lines that I like most about the S30. Just thought I'd share while I still could.

Just isn't my thing... I hate losing the trunk space and don't like the small window. I traded it even for a very good condition conventional hatch and I think both of us walked away from the deal thinking the other guy got screwed.

You can get those in fiberglass! I prefer the standard hatch, BUT with a proper body kit, the Pantera hatch can look awesome!

Arizona Z car used to make those. Its something different, but I also like the space and the s30 lines.
