260 Targa
260 Targa
Hi guys
I've decided I want to add t-tops to this 260 I'm building. Anyone know of a kit that fits particularly well? I've installed several and some kits are definitely better than others as far as leaks and fit go, so I'm hoping someone out there has t-topped a 240 or 260 and can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

I'm buying a 280z off of a friend of mine, and it has the split moon roofs as well. I can't find much info about it anywhere, but I saw on zcar.com someone said it was a dealer option, but not a factory option. Idk much more than that. Should get my car in a month or so, then I'll really get the bug and dedicate my time to finding out about the twin moon roofs

They are a crappy product of the 70's, dealers would give people the option (much like the door strips) for a body shop to install these. Very few where done right and even fewer actually sealed correctly. So I would highly recommend removing it and resealing it and fixing a rust under it.
I've got the dual moon roof setup on my '78 as well. The only leak in a really hard rain, and it's from one of the bolts that go through the glass and it's only an occasional drip. removing the bolt and putting a dab of some silicone sealant around the bolt shank would stop it. I've just not done it yet.
