My lights still dont work..

Ok people, here it is a month and change since I have owned this car and I have finally got her to fire up after wiring the fuel pump straight to the battery. (Kinda sucks have speaker wire everywhere). The problem is none of of my lights still work. I have checked fuses and relays and all of them have between 12.2 to 12.4 volts going to them. I just came across the headlight sensor and there is 12v going to the sensor but I dont know if its good or bad. I found the headlight timer and dont know what the hell its purpose is or what it does. I just cant understand how none of these lights are working when not all the light are running on the same harness. If I cant find the issue then Im going to have to rewire the headlights, taillights, turn signals, and electric fan using switches which will make my car look like a NASCAR plus its a lot of work to do. Sorry for the long post but im fresh out of ideas on what to check next. Anyone got any?

Sigh...geez ok can someone maybe tell me why my headlights continually goes up and down when I hit just the headlight switch? The uphold relay is good. If your reading these issues, dont be scared to share knowledge.

Did you check the fuseable link in the engine bay?

Download a free factory service manual and follow directions. Go to www.z31.com and search for headlight switch repair.

I have a good one. For the last two weeks whenever i turn my lights on the only thing that comes on is the headlights. No guage lights, no tails, no markers, etc nada. My Brake lights work when the pedal is depressed and my reverse lights work, and blinkers do too. So do you think it is just the switch bc fuses are good.
