280ZX - both power windows stopped working at the same time
If both your power window switches lose power it could be the power window breaker that has failed.
It is bolted behind the metal just above the fuse panel. Remove the plastic trim around the fuses, the under dash panel, and then unbolt the wiring harness plugs from the car. You can then unbolt the bracket just above the fuses and squeeze the fan timer and window breaker out and around.
I replaced mine with a used one.
Once working, the windows were slow and showed signs of dragging. They were probably tight from not being used often. I took off both door panels and lubricated the power window slides inside the door.
