This is my 280ZXT purchased August 2011. I haven't done any mods. The description is from the ebay ad when I bought it. The car is amazing. I love driving it. I have never elevated the boost to high boost--concerned the fuel will be too lean and will throw a bearing. I'm questioning the 400 horse power as I have 2 70's muscle cars that much H.P. pulls like. It doesn't have the low end torque but maybe wiht the high boost kicks. If anyone knows a little about the performance parts on this car I could use some explanation.
1983 Datsun 280ZX turboCar was completely disassembled and totally restored.The engine is heavily modified with 400 Hp.Here is the total list.Car /chassis stripped down to factory primer and repainted about 12 years ago Always has been garaged since then.All new nissan weather strips,new Nissan emblems ,New windshield,all moldings painted black,newly recovered recaro seatsnew carpet,headliner rear side panels,120 MPH spedo.Volt gauge in dash in place of the clockBoost fuel pressure and exhaust gauges in cenetr console New stereo has clock in it Jvc stereo with usb port for ipod flash drive ETC.extensive sound deadening material placed throughtout floor, doors, inner quater panels for a much quieter ride new tokico struts, MSA larger sway bars custom side and rear skirts,braided steel flex brake lines,A/c Heat converted to manual type much more relible works great A/C is ice cold heat works great,all new rear wheel bearings remain. p/steering rack, PAL headlamps custom controlled via dual relay system for optimum brightness,Engine/Transmission/power-train 300ZX LSD 3.71 Diff,C/V type axles BW T 5 completely rebuilt with all new japanese bearings and sychros,seals New center- force clutch all new clutch Hyd parts,lighteded fly wheel, driveline modified with greaseable u-joints custom alum.radiator,nissan factory coolant lines,dual Masarati cooling fans,custom spearco bar and plate intercooler,with custom air intrapment ducting and a Kand N type air filter,120 amp alternator Race gate T3/T4 Hybrid 57 trim,.63/.82A/R. 400HP engine,with JE pistons,total seal rings, ARP head studs,race prepped rods/bushed HKS metal head gasket,completly rebuilt enging,75 non EGR intake JW 300ZX ECU, with 420 CC injectors,New harmonic balancer,For Cobra MAF,Greedy profec b boost control LG throttle body,XS BOV MSD3A custom downpipe and 3" front to rear exhaust Extremely fast and very reliable the black interior .brand new Yokohama Avid Envigor 205/55/16 front 225/50/16 rear Konig 5 spoke wheels
