This was about the only intact piece of carpet. It probably wouldn't have made it if not for the floor mat.

I was very pleased when I didn't find any rust under the carpet. The brown and orange crap is residue from glue and tape.

Ripped out all the carpet. It was brittle and smelly and just had to go.
