I'm looking to buy any Datsun 240z, 260z, 280z, 280zx car for under $2000 (including shipping). I am in the Iowa area and will be in the Chicago area for the next two weekends. Driving more than a state away would be unwanted, but I'll travel just about anywhere for a good deal.

I would like it to be running, but I can stand a reasonable amount of engine work. After reading some posts on here, including the posts on my other thread, I'm much more interested in buying a car with a clean body. The further away you are from me, the more pictures I'll want from you.

I want to say that I'll take a 280zx, but they don't tickle my fancy quite like the other models. For most things I am open minded and will consider most offers, but I will not take an automatic. That is my one stipulation. Price, distance, model, etc are all negotiable. In fact, I'll take offers for any RWD manual that's at least somewhat in my price range, but my focus for now is one a Datsun.

I know its not a 280zx but i got a nissan 300zx that im selling im in michigan not that far from chi. Its a 87 with no rust on it 5 speed tranny 2 seater with t-tops they dont leak i got it advertized for 2000 but im willing to take offers its got a new clutch, mater and slave you can call me 906-233-7440

How far away from Chicago? I'll end up calling you today or tomorrow for some pictures. If it's not too far out of my way, I may be able to swing it, but we're hugging my $2k glass ceiling here.
