As the title states I'm looking for a good working steering rack for my s30. I'm not sure if they're interchangeable throughout the years or not or if any other model racks would work, if so let me know! Pictures of the racks and price would be great if you have them for sale.

I would bet Jamal has what you are looking for. Borini63, drop him a pm, I would be very surprised if he didn't. He is an excellent source for Z parts. Not sure but the new racks might be a direct bolt in. That deserves some research on my part, couldn't say for sure. But if no one gets back to you Ill try and get a def answer.

 

What do you mean by new racks exactly? I've vaguely read something about the 240sx rack working but haven't found any documentation or anything. :/

 

I don't have it for your year..... We pulled the whole drivetrain,A/C system and all the body and engine harnesses,gas tank from 76 280Z last week,my friend went with Chevy Small Block and I go the whole drive train except the diff and the half shafts.P90 head,non EGR intake custom Fuel rail ,4 Speed tranny , Mallory Disributor with the filter etc etc.

 

My friend who is not a member on here has a steer rack for a 76 i believe. i'll check with him and price.
