Thanks for the offers. I got one on ebay for $135. Plugged it in and she started right up. Had to replace my refusable links and some fuel injectore wires. Only problem I'm having now, is my stereo won't work. Fuse is ok. What do you all suggest?

 

Test the wires see if there's power to the radio. Ecu has nothing to do with stereo.

 

Maybe your radio is shot,They are 30+ years old.....

Radio was working fine until the "mix up". It's a new stereo system. OK, so my car is running, but the ecu is not regulating the fuel. I'm looking for the exact fit A11 652 805. Anyone? That is the serial on the one that fried and it was doing it's job well. The one I replaced it with is not the same model. The car is running and thought the fuel issues had to do with a wire problem somewhere, but I had a master mechanic look at the wiring and he traced it back to the ECU. So.... I'm in the markt again!
