Looking for a car in Indiana area, surrounding states.. Willing to drive up to 1,000 miles for a 'good buy'.

I am looking for a 1982 or 1983 280zx Turbo.

Colors I am after are black / tan or grey / ?

Colors can be diffrent, not looking for a red car inside or out.

Engine should be strong, no turbo problems or oil leakage, must have good compression.


Body can have normal Z rust, paint quality does not matter, minor dings and dents are 'ok' but should be 0 car related wrecks, no panels that need to be replaced.
Hood rust is 'ok' even if it has holes.

Interior 'does not matter', dash, carpet and seats can be in 'poor' condition, panels should most be 'ok', no cracks, missing panels are fine, sun-damaged parts are ok.

I am looking for a new 'project' car to park in my garage over the winter and spring, I need something that runs, runs fairly decent at that, it must be able to drive from your location to Indianapolis IN without any problems.
