'79-'83 analog thermostat housing
'79-'83 analog thermostat housing
As it states....I need a thermostat housing from an analog not a digital 280zx. The Z I need it for is my '82 slicktop N/A. I only have one left that works. And it is from my '83 digital dash Z. The temperature doesn't read right. It jumps around, and then stays all the way on the hot side. Which I know is false. I checked the radiator hose, and it isn't hot at all. While the Z is running. So I know the sender is not working correctly. Nor is the gauge reading right.
Oh the other thing is. Every housing I tried to get the thermostat sender out. To put in the new one I purchased They would break inside, like they were welded. Has anybody ever dealt with this problem?
So if anybody has one in good shape. Let me know a price, and PM, post here, or email me at. atranfanatic@yahoo.com Thanks in advance.

^ Does it look the same as an N/A one? The main thing I need is the sensor on the bottom right. Has a male end, to put a female connector on. The main problem is, when I tried to take the old one out. It broke inside, it is made of some kind of pot metal. So why would they make them like that. And have the sensor new, to try to replace it?
Anyway, also put the clutch pin, and the manual climate control switch for me too. And get back to me, and thanks.

If it is from an analog dash 280zx. And if the temperature sender is in good shape. It sounds good. Do you accept Paypal? Or some other form of payment? Let me know, and thanks I appreciate it bro'.
